Hard to believe that our tenth season is almost over, but we still have two great shows left for you. On Saturday, May 12th we have the Irish Folk duo of Atwater-Donnelly and as always we close out our season with the "Women of RISA" on Saturday, June 9th hosted by Jan Luby who has once again put together a great line-up for your listening pleasure.
We will once again be working on some up-grades over the summer to get ready for next year. We are looking at adding a second stage monitor, going from a two-way to a three-way speaker system, and most importantly we will be building a stage in August.
After holding the line for ten years we will be increasing ticket prices starting August 1st to $12 per person for each show.
Take care, Rick Norman Mgr. CSCH.

It sad to say but yup another season is coming to a close with just 3 shows left in this years line-up. We are definately going out in style with a great evening of Folk, Rock, and a heavy dose of Blues on Saturday April 30th at 8pm. This will be an extended evening and the house will be rocking all night long with the music of Matt Borrello, Mark Greenbaum, Chuck Williams and very special guest Ross Robinson. All proceds from this show will go directly to the men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan through the Front Line Ministry for Freedom a small faith based organization that has sent out over 250 care packages to our troops to date.
Then on Saturday May 14th we have Susan Souza who is on a Noeth East tour and then we close it out on Saturday June 11th with the 8th annual "Women of RISA" show, hosted by Jan Luby which is always a fan favorite.
Wait until you see what we are planning for our tenth anniversary season starting on Saturday, Sept. 10th.
Take care and keep the peace, Rick Norman Mgr. CSCH.

Well folks our season is underway as we opened with some folk, rock& blues with the talented Matt Borrello. Now it's the ladies turn as they have the stage for our next 3 shows. First up we Joyce Katzberg on Oct. 9th, she has an amazing voice and style. Then we turn it over to the duo of Jan Luby and Mary Ann Rossoni, two dynamic performers on Oct. 30th. Not to be out done is the combination of Tesseract3 on Nov. 13th. If you like two and three part harmonies this is a must see show. According to John Fuzek of Motif magazine, we have the best listening room in the East Bay.
Come check us out and you'll agree, Rick Norman Mgr. CSCH

It's almost that time of year again and the Church Street Coffeehouse is set and ready to go for another season. We are coming off a very exciting year, in which we up-graded our sound system, started our official website, celebrated another CD release party with long time CSCH favorite Allysen Callery and saw a great increase in the size of our audience.
In the off-season we doubled the size of our staff and have worked hard a putting together what we think is perhaps our best line-up yet. It is going to be a season of folk, rock and blues with perhaps a twang of country thrown in just for fun. We just added radion station WUMB in Boston to our advertising list and are ready for perhaps our best season ever. When it comes to good music and good times, we are putting Warren, RI. on the map along with our friends just down the road, Manny & Cathy Perry's "Open Mic Night" almost every Friday evening at the Coffee Depot.
You have got to come check us out.

Well folks it's the last day of June and here at The Church Street Coffeehouse we are working on putting together our new season. Last year was one of the most exciting seasons in our 8 year history and we are expecting more of the same this year. Our website is catching on, our up-graded sound system has made a big difference in the enjoyment level of our shows, not to mention it's fun to play with according to sound technician Tom Padwa. We have a great line up of exellent local talent gracing our stage this year and we hope to see you there.

Here we are folks, it's late May and our last show on June 12th is fast approaching featuring the now 7th Annual Women of RISA Show, with a great line-up again this year. It's hard to believe another season is winding down and what an exciting season it has been. We cranked up the volume with some killer new sound equipment and we started up our website which has been both sucessful and fun to do. This year we had a great line-up of both folk and blues with some outstanding performances.
We have had one of our best seasons yet and we are already putting the finishing touches on next years line-up. It's going to be a good one featuring some well known regulars and some new faces to the Church Street Coffeehouse. I can promise you one thing it's going to be our best year ever.
Take care and keep the peace, Rick Norman, Mgr. the CSCH.

Well here we are folks, the Winter is winding down and we're waiting for signs of Spring. It's been a great season so far with record attendance at several shows this year so far and an exciting line-up to close out our season. Next month we have recording artist Susan Souza, who you have got to check out, THIS is a show you won't want to miss. Our sound equipment up-grades are paying dividends, "not to mention fun to play with", as is our website. We hope to see you make it this month, especially if you've never been here before, as we deliver great value for your entertainment dollar.

Here we are preparing for our third show of the season already and it's going to be a good one. This is not your fathers brand of Folk-music either, it's more modern than that, but it's still got soul. The season is already flying by, it seems like just yesterday we were still getting ready to kick off this our 8th season. It's kind of hard to believe that we've been around that long already, but we have.
We did a bit of a make-over in the off season, with some serious up-grades, that are paying off dividends. Our website is now all but complete and is both cool looking and pretty easy to navigate, thanks to a lot of help from our sound-man Tom. We are looking forward to continued success this season and hope to see you there, we are sure you won't be dissappointed. Take care and keep the peace, Rick Norman Mgr. the CSCH
