The Church Street Coffeehouse was founded in September of 2001 by accomplished Singer/Songwriter Eric Behr, as a place, where both local and regional musicians could come and perform before small to medium sized live audiences. We use a small room with great acoustics, where we have audiences of 25-30 people on average but have had 40-50 on several occasions. It is a nice comfortable setting where you are close to the performer which enhances the feel during sing-alongs and where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee as well as some tasty baked treats.
We have a high quality sound system featuring a 900 watt Peavey amp and a CFX 12 Mackie mixing board run by professional sound engineer Tom Padwa and sound tech Sam Gafford, who always make the performers sound their best. The coffeehouse is managed by Rick Norman and his assistant Carol Gafford whose main goal is to deliver a good time to everyone, every time.. We run a 12 show season on the second and 5th Saturdays of the month from September through June. Come check us out, we're sure you'll have an enjoyable evening and will want to come back again and again.
